Ā

Longjing Tea:

ā€¢ Longjing is one of Chinaā€™s top ten famous teas, with a history dating back to the Tang Dynasty.

ā€¢ The tea leaves are flat and smooth, with a green color, rich aroma, sweet taste, and beautiful appearance, earning it the title of ā€œQueen of Green Tea.ā€

Ā

Pre-Rain Longjing (Yu Qian Longjing):

ā€¢Ā Pre-Rain Longjing is harvested before the Grain Rain season (mid to late April). Compared to the earlier Pre-Qingming Longjing, the leaves of Pre-Rain Longjing are slightly larger and more mature while still retaining their tender quality.

ā€¢Ā During this period, tea plants grow vigorously, resulting in leaves rich in nutrients. When brewed, the tea liquor offers a more mellow taste and a long-lasting, intense aroma.

ā€¢ The tea leaves are flat and smooth with a vibrant green color, featuring ā€œmillet-coloredā€ tips. The overall appearance is uniform and aesthetically pleasing.

ā€¢ The taste is fresh, smooth, and slightly sweet, with a noticeable lingering aftertaste. It combines the freshness of spring tea with a fuller, richer body.

šŸ«–Brewing Method

1. Warm the Cup: Pour in boiling water halfway, swirl the cup, and discard the water.

2. First Scent: Add dry tea leaves, swirl lightly, and enjoy the orchid aroma.

3. Second Scent: Add a small amount of 90Ā°C water, swirl again, and enjoy the aroma a second time.

4. Third Aroma: Fill the cup to 70% full with 90Ā°C water, let it steep for 1 minute, and enjoy the third aroma.

Tips:

ā€¢ Maintain the water temperature at 90Ā°C to avoid scalding the leaves.

ā€¢ Refill when the cup is half empty; do not let the tea cool completely.

ā€¢ Do not cover the cup while steeping to preserve its clarity and fragrance.

ā€¢ After opening, seal the tea tightly for storage. Refrigerate if possible to maintain freshness.
